Baba Ramdev ji
Baba Ramdev was a Tanwar Rajput of the Pokhran area (1352–1385 CE). Hindus regard him as an avatar of Krishna. The legend says five pirs from Mecca tested him and, moved by his miracle, called him “Ramshah Pir” — so Muslims revere him too.
He served the poor and oppressed and taught that all are equal, so people of every caste and faith worship him. The Ramdevra (Jaisalmer) fair runs from Bhadrapada Shukla 2 (“Baba ri Beej”) to about Shukla 10–11.
