Shree Baba Shyam Mandir
Temple Lunsara
The deity
Khatu Shyam ji
Shyam Baba is Barbarik, grandson of Bhima. The legend says Krishna, disguised as a Brahmin, asked for his head and he gave it; Krishna blessed him to be worshipped as “Shyam” in Kali Yuga.
Devotees call him “Haare ka Sahara” (support of those who have lost). The Lakhi fair at Khatu (Sikar) peaks on Phalgun Shukla Ekadashi; pilgrims walk from Ringas carrying nishan flags.
